The Natural way to hold Hand-tools.

The PETA range of ergonomic garden and hand tools consists of a fork, trowel, weeder, hoe and cultivator. All metal parts are stainless steel which does not rust and reduces soil adhesion.

PETA Fist-Grip handles are at approximately 90" from the tool head allowing the wrist and hand to be held in a neutral stress free position enabling a much firmer grip on the tool. The average weight of the tools is 225gms (8ozs).

Gardeners with weak hands or wrists will benefit considerably by using a PETA arm support cuff, which plugs into the rear of any tool and can be changed from one tool to another. The strength of the forearm is then employed in assisting the hand and wrist.

PETA Long-Reach garden tools are designed for gardeners who prefer to sit on a stool or chair whilst working. The tools are approximately 76cm (31") long and all metal parts are stainless steel. The Long-Reach range includes fork, trowel, cultivator and hoe. A PETA interchangeable arm support should be used with PETAL Long-Reach tools which will give greater control over the tool and reduce any strain on the wrist.

The average weight of Long-Reach tools is 450gms (16ozs).

Peta Fist-Grip handles bring comfort to Gardening

PETA Fist-Grip Add-On handles may be fitted to conventional garden hand tools so that all the advantages and benefits of the PETA Fist-Grip system can be enjoyed by gardeners by adapting their own existing hand tools.

PETA Add-On handles are also designed to be used on long handled tools such as rakes, hoes, brooms, mops etc. which require pushing or pulling. Their use on these tools give several benefits:

they keep the hands and wrists in neutral stress free positions

work is carried out with the body in a more upright posture, preventing undue back strain

gives a wider field of working area without twisting the body.

Two PETA Add-On handles should be fitted to long handled tools for maximum benefit.

PETA ARM SUPPORTS can be fitted to any Fist-Grip tool or Add-On handle and can be transferred from one tool to another. Two types of arm cuffs are offered, one being made from firm plastic and the other is a soft wrap around cuff which is firmly held in position by Velcro. The plastic arm support weighs only 100gms (3'/20ZS).

These tools are a must for people who suffer from Arthritis if they wish to continue gardening.
